We are very excited for our year ahead, we hope you all are too.

Year 2 - We look forward to building on from the work you did last year, we have high expectations in class 3, but we know you will do your best and work your hardest.

Year 3 - You are now KS2! We have high expectations of you and you will be learning lots of new things including French this year, we know you will also be working your hardest.

Throughout the autumn term we will be studying the Jungle and Africa. In Geography we will be studying where Africa is on a map, as well as looking at the continents and oceans too. We will share stories of Anansi the spider, and his trickster ways.  In Science we will be looking at forces and magnets, pupils will be thinking about different forces and doing some exciting experiments to investigate! Later this term we will then move on to looking at light.

During the year we will also have the opportunity to do extra sporting activities including rugby and swimming and other competitions. We are also lucky to have more specialist music learning with the support of the music service.
