Spring 1 - Misty Mountain Sierra

Welcome back!

This half term, we are looking at the misty mountain ranges of the world.

Our exciting topic will lead us to a journey of discovery about the special role these magnificent geographical features play in our world.

We'll be taking time to look at how mountains are formed, when a mountain becomes a mountain, mountain climates and how those who choose to make a mountain their home adapt to survive.

In mathematics, we'll continue to develop our understanding of multiplication and division as well as exploring fractions.

In English we begin our learning with looking at poetry - using our observational skills to create imagery and metaphors in our written learning.
