The Year Five/Six girls took part in our cluster football tournament on Thursday night. Playing three games, the girls lost the first two games; however came out victorious in their last game winning 1-0. Throughout the tournament the girls’ performances improved every game. A big well done to all girls involved, you were fantastic!
Cross Country Finals at Cottingham High School
On Tuesday evening, Penny and Max competed in the finals of Cross Country at Cottingham High School after their success at the cluster competitions earlier in the year. Both of the children finished in the top 30 as they battled against 100 other pupils. A big well done to these two after another superb effort!
Football at The Snaith School
On Tuesday, a small group of Year four and five boys joined the Year sixes at The Snaith School to participate in the annual boy’s football tournament. After a slow start to the first couple of games, the boys dug in and showed their hard work, determination and perseverance in the next few games and were very unlucky not to come away with a win in their last three games. The boys stuck together until the end and showed that on another day a different outcome could have been achieved.
Cross Country at Rawcliffe Bridge
On Tuesday afternoon, the school participated in a cross country event at Rawcliffe Bridge Primary School. Max and Penny came first and third in their respective age groups races. These two will now represent the school in the next round later this month. Gracie, Levi and Bethany all finished in the top 10 of their races. The children showed determination, perseverance in abundance and most of all friendship as they cheered each other over the finish line. A massive well done to all involved!
