6 July to 10 July

Hello everyone

Welcome to the last full week of the term.  I have finalised the 2 simple reports and they have been sent out to you all - I hope they show you just how far you have journeyed this year.

I would like to remind you to check your child's school email for a Microsoft Teams invitation because I will continue to set up meetings for children who are currently not in school so we can have a quick catch up chat together - and also see each other too.

The last reading books from Read, Write Inc. are in the folder as always and I hope you will enjoy reading them.  An activity that the children in my butterfly class have loved doing is using the pictures from the books and writing independent sentences to explain what is happening in the picture.  You may like to do this - just remember to use the speed sounds grid to help when you put the sounds together to create your phonically spelt words.

We are aiming for your reports to be sent to you during the week and hope you enjoy reading them together.  Please email your child's and adult comments in to us when you are able to.

I continue to hope you are all staying safe and enjoying lots of time enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

Best wishes - please email me with details of your work this week and I hope you enjoy your learning activities from BBC Bitesize, The Oak National Academy and remember to read for enjoyment from Oxford Owl.
