On Tuesday afternoon, the children entered the classroom to a tasting session of traditional Mexican drinks and Mariachi music playing in the background, unaware of what these related to. The children then proceeded to the hall, to a Piñata hanging down from the roof. After the Piñata was FINALLY broken, the children had pictures which were linked to the country to try and guess what our next topic would be about.
Throughout this topic, Class Five will be getting ready to explore this unique country, from it's towering temples and stunning geography to its pulsing rhythms and fun - packed festivals. Stomachs will be rumbling and their taste buds will be tingling, as the children will be experiencing the taste of Mexico through traditional meals and drinks!
At the end of this topic, Class Five would like to invite you in a for a Mexican party! You will hear about this in the near future!
