Their generous donations  [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div  class="paragraph editable-text" style=" text-align: justify; ">The HSA Auction&nbsp;which took place on Saturday 5th March raised a staggering &pound;1,400 for School funds.&nbsp; This is an amazing achievement and will hopefully already have the teachers thinking of exciting equipment for the children to spend it on!<BR><SPAN></SPAN><BR>An enormous THANKS has to go to the villages and businesses of Pollington, many of whom do not even have children in the school. Their generous donations were so much appreciated as was their willingness to dig deep in their pockets for the buying of the lots. We want to thank John Hart, Pollingtons very own auctioneer, who performed an outstanding job on our behalf and also Richard Law who provided the sound system for the evening as well as encouraging updates of running totals. <BR><SPAN></SPAN><BR><SPAN></SPAN>And finally but by no means least, a very special thank you to Alison &amp; John Haggar who worked tirelessly to make the auction such an outstanding success. During the week, children will be pro [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div  class="paragraph editable-text" style=" text-align: justify; "><font size="2"><font size="2"><font size="3">Wb.6/12/10&nbsp;is our first International Week, and all the children in school will be spending the week learning about Thailand. We have links with &rdquo;<a title="" href="http://www.pollingtonbalneprimary.com/thai-school.html">WAT PRA NON NONG&rdquo;</a> school in Chiangmai, and some of the children from Class 2 have already been involved in interviewing a visiting Thai teacher. During the week, children will be provided with opportunities to compare the culture, traditions, geography, way of life in Thailand, with that of their own country.
